I started with Instagram and let's be honest, creating a solid handle that sums you up in a couple letters is hard! I'm a dad, so that had to be in there somehow because family is the most important thing to me. The subject matter is craft beverages and I love me a good barrel-aged cocktail or barrel-aged beer, so add that to the mix. I'm also easy going with a tongue-in-cheek sense of humor. When I thought about it, barrel-aged beverages are mature, refined and smooth around the edges so it was a nice metaphorical spin on my advanced age and life experience :) Like Banana Republic, established in 1978 if you're wondering.
I do! (have other interests) Of course, spending time with the fam. I'm a fortuitous foodie who is never above the hole-in-the-wall (they're often the best places). I love to travel and experience new things in good company, design, photography, entrepreneurship, music, movies, tech, cars and motorcycles.

Absolutely! I'm a sucker for free stuff, but please note that sending product is no guarantee of a blog or social post featuring your product. If you'd like to inquire about a collaboration please reach out. Authenticity is something I take seriously so I will never promote a product or company that I don't stand behind and support.
I use Squarespace for a few reasons: 1) It's easy: I'd rather spend the little free time I have creating content versus messing around with widgets, plugins, code etc. 2) Design: It will always look good on any device. Being a designer, I'm particular (read: OCD) about these things. Less is more, content first.
Go-to: I'm a whiskey guy, so it's hard to beat the simplicity of a good Old Fashioned. If I see a muddled orange though, I'm out.
Hard pass: I'll try anything twice...except for Jagermeister. We had a nasty falling out in college.
I style and shoot all photos and videos. On the rare occasion I didn't shoot it, there will be a photo credit associated with the content. I started in 2016 on a used Canon T3i with the "nifty fifty" plastic 50mm 1.8 lens (great starter kit!). I eventually upgraded to a Canon 5d Mark III. Spoiler: Given the price difference, the images aren't that much better to the average viewer.
